First Day of 1st Grade

Yep...spiked up his own hair even....
o.k.....here's when the mommy lost it....oh my!
His OWN desk....right in FRONT! (perhaps that means something?)...LOL

Met his amazing teacher who is a honored teacher and nationally recognized.

She is super cautious and protective about her class, as she stated! Wow, I like her.

She will be a great one for my BEN. She doesn't even believe in overwhelming children at this age with silly homework, she asks for a minimum of 10 minutes focused time and mucho reading. No "silly "worksheets....Amen to THAT!

I cried for about 20 minutes straight and had some boo boo moments throughout the day, but was thrilled to hear about his first day.

After school today , Friday, we are leaving for the Big Town to enjoy Ben's Birthday Weekend and a Christian Music Festival. Our family so needs this time to just relax and enjoy one another. Ben turns 7 on Wednesday.

We will spend all Sat. at the Water Park and the Music Festival all Evening...Can't WAIT to see Michael W. Smith!!!!

I will also meet up with most of my staff there, what a JOY to have believers to work for me!
