This past year, before he took the job at a local firm, he was working on some ministry work for Christian school, gymnasiasm in a nearby town. He was also working on a $3 million eye clinic, and so on....He was doing this while also teaching full time at the university! He told the Christian school that they should find someone else to finish the drawings because he just could not humanly do all that they needed of him (after he started full time at the firm), but they kept calling him and expecting him to do this and know that....so on. Keep in mind, he was NOT charging them a DIME! He had been very gracious to them. Well, the school had a big donor $$$$ who has been calling Les and not agreeing with him on his design issues because it may cost more money, even though it's a life safety issue, and so on..... Les tried and tried to explain this over and over again, but instead of being "professional" or just even "nice", they have trashed my husband's name in that community and that really ticks me off in a big way!!! Les has put in soooo much time (at no charge) on this project and then to have them NEVER even say a "thank you", send a card, give ANYthing positive, from anyone from the council or anything......he gets nothing but negative!!! AND, to top it off, the $$$$ donor calls Les' boss and shares his frustration about Les with his boss?!!!! UGH!. The $$ Donor guy tells Les' boss that "word on the street in this town......... is that les has not been reliable to work with and so on....!!!" Seriously??? Give me a break! Am i Mad about this? You bet!
He works soooo hard and definately doesn't deserve to be mis-represented like this.
I guess I should breathe now...............
