THE OPEN HOUSE OF MY HONEE'S ARCHITECTURE FIRM..... standing in the front entrance, by the amazing plexy glass sign that was designed by les and Mr. Rudy at a local sign company. It is way cool and will be marketed with the sign company's brochures.....pretty excited about that.
His sister and brother in law had this amazing bouquet sent to the office and it looks like it was hand picked from the rain forest or something....truly, truly amazing. It came in off the UPS truck. Wow, thanks L and J soooooo much. We love you and thank YOU for your support from the very start. I could not tell you what everything was because it was so fancy, but soooo good to eat.
The layout looked soooooo pretty too.
This is my honee's studio. He had a vision of having it resemble a "working studio" with a team approach, which looks great but is exactly what he wanted also. As I can brag, because wives can, it looks so great and so creative and it was just great watching him yesterday talking with people and having that confidence to pursue his dream. He needed that.
This is one of the staff work stations and I must say, they are way cool.We took an old, dated, yuky looking desk(s) and completely transformed them into what you can kind of see in this picture. We added new hardware, had a metallic metal laminate put on the top to give it an industrial look also. Les elevated their work areas also, to provide more of a "team approach" and it works so, so well.
After looking back, all that hard work, indeed came together.
Thank you to our family and friends who have been such an encouragement through this process. A special thanks to my MOM: with out you, this would NOT have been possible.
O.K. Mom, are you having fun yet? She likes the big computer.
The ribbon cutting ceremony....a must.
I love you so much honee, and could NOT be happier for you, for US.
My favorite room: the Conference room. It's so neat. Les designed the conference room table with an antique door for the top and then split another door in half to use for the legs and then had a custom piece of glass made for the top that overlaps the door. The designer and I had found some amazing furniture pieces at a local store that really brought the room together.
Now that my honee's office looks so great, maybe our house will be up next....hee hee. Not.

Well all I can say is one incredibly talented architect, one incredubly supportive and talented wife, business woman, Mother, and blessed daughter. My cup overflows that I am blessed enough to be just a audience and support to such talents. cheers to L and S you are both incredible and God has shined on you with His Love and support. You are truly amazing. No wonder your children are so gifted.
