Got back from a camping weekend. Lows: Rained and very windy all day SAT and we had to retreat to the inlaws home......(that was the blessing....to be close enough to go there). Highs: SUNDAY was beautiful and the kids swam like fishes and we tried to catch some (no luck), and ME, tried to cook myself and am suffering today because of my ignorance. OUWEE!BEST HIGH: Got to do an overnight drive Thursday to pick up and surprise my big baby brother from the airport, the one from CZECH, who I have NOT seen for YEARS! He loved sporting the matching shirts we made for all of us....right BRO? Looking forward to spending time with him this next week.
Highs: Campfires, smelling like marshmellows and campfire smoke, being grungy for 2 days, eating camp food, basking in the sun (WITH SUNSCREEN!!!), seeing the amazing sky at night, and watching the non stop joy beaming from my kids while playing from dawn till dusk.
