Tonight, Les and I got to go out for a Christmas
dinner at a new restaurant in town for the University
Faculty appreciation, which was nice and the kids got
to spend a couple of super fun hours with their
favorite babysitter Alyssa at her house. Their
mom is a pastor in town and their dad works at
HyVee and they are just a super sweet family who
adore our kids. Maddie was so excited she couldn't
wait to get "just the right outfit on" that her" boyfriend"
Alec would like (seriously, he's the younger brother of
our babysitter and Maddie adores him....it's kinda cute
and silly at the same time). I think she was really nervous,
if that's possible at the mere age of 4 years.....oofda.

He likes this picture, so I put it on the blog for
him. He just loves family and friends so much.
He is looking forward to Christmas spending it
with all the cousins and then having that extra
special time at Grammie's too.
P.S. Our dog, Lucy just ate the plate of Chocolate chip/pecan cookies
off the top of our island!!!!!! UGH......love to hate our pets at times......
