Ben was teaching sissy how to cast, cuz he knows how now.
Hopefully, Maddie will be an avid Fishergirl too. She likes the "nimmows" as she calls them.
Ben tells me: "I remember how grampa told me how to do it."
The kids were perfectly content sitting on the blanket, watching the sunset, watching daddy cast, and playing with gravel rocks. A great life, for sure!
We were really trying to catch some fish. We tried several places, but they just were not biting this night. A beautiful night anyway.
This was the highlight for BEN. He felt so sad for the little duck who was being picked on by the big honker geese. So, he tried to take care of the duck, who he named: Star Wars.
This was comical. My Maddie is NOT shy. This sweet lady was a volunteer planting flowers out here, and Maddie took it upon herself to start up a conversation with her.....too cute.
Such a special evening, just being together.
